THG Beauty’s breadth of relationships is unique to the beauty market; it engages with brands as a retailer, a brand owner, and a product developer and manufacturer, making it the industry’s digital strategic leader.  Why be a Senior BI Analyst at THG Beauty?  As Senior BI Analyst for Beauty, you will own the reporting layer that enables the Beauty Data & Insight team and senior Beauty leadership to understand and act on business performance. You will build and maintain trusted dashboards and reports — covering customer, commercial and operational performance — ensuring that the metrics leadership relies on are accurate, consistent and drive decisions. You will work closely with the Beauty analytics team, the Reporting Lead and the Engineering team.   What You'll Do: Reporting & Dashboard Development  <ul> <li>Own and maintain the Beauty reporting suite — dashboards covering customer performance, trading, commercial analytics and operational KPIs </li> <li>Build new reports and dashboards to support evolving business requirements </li> <li>Ensure all Beauty reporting meets the metric standards set by the Reporting Lead — consistent definitions, clear labelling, reliable data </li> <li>Work with the Reporting Lead to rationalise and improve the reporting estate </li> </ul> Data & Analytics  <ul> <li>Write and maintain SQL queries to support reporting and ad hoc analytical requests </li> <li>Validate data — working with engineering teams to identify and resolve discrepancies </li> <li>Support the Beauty analytics team with data and reporting needs </li> </ul> Stakeholder Engagement  <ul> <li>Work with Beauty stakeholders — including the Head of Beauty and analytics leads — to understand reporting requirements </li> <li>Communicate clearly about what the data shows, what it doesn't show, and why </li> <li>Manage requests effectively — setting expectations and delivering reliably </li> </ul>  THG Career Framework — What Good Looks Like at This Level  <ul> <li>Deep expertise in BI and reporting — the go-to person for Beauty reporting and metric questions </li> <li>Interprets and explains data concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders </li> <li>Coaches junior analysts on BI best practice and data quality </li> <li>Accountable for own targets — delivers to a high standard with minimal supervision </li> <li>Understands how reporting quality links to business decision-making quality </li> <li>Makes pragmatic decisions on reporting priorities — balancing stakeholder requests with data quality </li> </ul> What We're Looking For: Essential  <ul> <li>Experience (typically 3+ years) in BI, reporting or analytics roles </li> <li>Hands-on experience with Tableau or equivalent BI tooling — able to build production-quality dashboards </li> <li>Strong SQL skills — comfortable building complex queries and validating data </li> <li>Experience in e-commerce, retail or consumer goods reporting </li> <li>Attention to detail — committed to the accuracy and consistency of what you produce </li> </ul> Desirable  <ul> <li>Experience with GCP and BigQuery or equivalent cloud data platform </li> <li>Exposure to beauty, wellness or lifestyle brand data environments </li> <li>Familiarity with data governance concepts as applied to reporting </li> <li>Experience in customer, commercial or operational analytics domains </li> </ul> What’s in it for me?  Career Development  <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="18" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Access bespoke development programmes that have been designed and developed by our in-house L&D team. </li> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="18" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"hybridMultilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="1" data-aria-level="1">Continued development through our upskilling programme that is delivered in partnership with an industry-leading training provider. </li> </ul> Enhanced Leave  <ul> <li>25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. </li> <li>Don’t want to work on your birthday?
